To write a really good biography, you have to have the disposition to fall into a long-dead people. I do not know where I've heard, but I think it is true - and is probably the reason why I never had the impulse to write a biography of anyone, even though I like to read that;)
Why me! of all Jane Austen chose, but I do not honestly remember exactly - except for a fond memory for our Inzenierung of Pride & Prejudice I really do not care much for the English Regency province - the people are too well behaved to me. ;)
Still must one of Biopgraphie by Else Marie Maletzke (if this is a stage name? "I do not think so, Tim ...) can they bring the necessary enthusiasm for her subject in each case.

Jane Austen was apparently her own role model - nice, neat and rational with ironic touches, but little tension curves in their lives.
might have done a couple of rumors to the book a bit - unhappy love stories, Family conflict or tragic affairs, something of that nature Instead, the author is keeping to the traditional - and by the descendants of some mercilessly censored - the sources, without adding even the slightest suggestion that the lives of Jane Austen at some point not an endless there may have been series of tea parties and old aunts.
